Supporting Small and Local Businesses | Weston Park Christmas Fayre Dec 2015

We’re already 6 days in to December and I’m ashamed that this was my first Christmas Fayre/Market of 2015 – I’m slightly addicted to discovering unique finds that are produced by local businesses, some had even travelled from all over the UK to be at Weston today.

It was nice to buy a product where the creator/business owner was there behind the stall talking about what they had designed with that passion that started the business in the first place.

Mom and I came home with lots of goodies, some I can’t show because they’re Christmas gifts ha! But here were a few that I’d love to show you…

Mikes Homemade Marmalade, Pickle, Mixed Berry and Mulled Wine Preserve Cranberry, Orange & Port Sauce (for Christmas day) yummmm.

Fig and Cassis Soya Candle. Homemade and hand crafted – smells amazing!

Yogi Tea Classic gift set from the Powerful Organic stall. Tastes so Christmasy and comes with a big mug – couldn’t resist.

I also got talking to a lovely lady called Katie Keith who absolutely loves what she does. Her designs are so unique and each is hand drawn so is completely unique. A perfect gift for those arty people in your life. I’ve got my eye on her ‘Joe the Cat’ gift, Check her website out here

To finish off the lovely afternoon mom and I went to the Granary Deli opposite the beautiful Granary Grill at Weston Park which I visited a few months ago. I had a Cinnamon Cappuccino and we both had Brie, Cranberry and Rocket Focaccia Sandwiches with Winter Slaw – oh I could eat it all over again.
